About Installing Swift on a Raspberry Pi

To install the latest versions of Swift you will need to use the 64bit version of Raspberry Pi OS and a Raspberry Pi model 3, 4 ,5or 400.
If you are running the 64bit version of Raspberry Pi OS please use the swift-arm/release repository.

To install Swift on a Raspberry Pi zero you will need to use Raspberry Pi OS (legacy) which is based on Debian Buster.
The latest version of Swift available for Raspberry Pi OS (legacy) is Swift 5.1.5.
